Interestingly for me, a 66-year-old lifelong liberal Democrat, I've recently decided that the neo-misogynist Equality Act is a true deal-breaker for me. I will simply not be able to bring myself to vote for anyone who supports it. And since ALL Democrats support it, and since I don't do meaningless third-party protest votes, that means I will be voting Republican going forward.
The future of the US seems to be coming down to rule either by christianist fascists or woke totalitarians. And between those two, I will take the christianist fascists any day of the week, and twice on Sunday.
